App
At Membantu, we believe that technology and data present a groundbreaking opportunity to allow people to take control of their health and well-being. The Membantu app provides users with the opportunity to gain greater insight into a child’s sleep using individually tracked health data.
We see it as our task to be clear and transparent so that you can fully understand what we do with your data even if the digital ecosystem of an app is a complex one.
Please read through this entire privacy policy to understand how we handle your data. We have done our best to make it as clear and easy to understand as possible. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at info@membantustore.com.
1. The data which we process
We process four types of data in order to be able to provide our services on the Membantu app and the membantustore.com website. All of our data are stored securely on servers located in the EU.
Account data: To create your Membantu account, we process some of your personal data such as username, date of birth for your child and your email address.
Usage data: To provide our services and to improve performance on a technical level, we process data on how you interact with our products using various data points. Such data includes device data which informs us about the kind of device you are using to access our app services (for example, device model, name and identifiers, device settings, application identifier, crash data). On our website, we also collect data on your browser (for example, browser data, operating system, system settings). Other usage data includes the IP address that your browser or mobile device is using and we collect this data to provide the service to your device. We also use the IP address to determine your approximate location for statistical and analytical purposes and to comply with the regulations of various countries. We do not collect data on your precise location.
Health data: To provide health app services, we process health data and other sensitive data regarding your child’s sleep which you have chosen to monitor in the Membantu app. Such health data may include information about your child’s sleeping habits (including length of sleep, sleep quality and any potential awakenings) and other relevant data related to the child’s sleep (such as sleep environment, sleep-related activities, etc.). You can use various methods offered by the app to monitor your child’s sleep using the app. This may include manually entering the data into the app or importing data from other integrated devices or services supported by Membantu.
Device data: In order to be able to continually optimise our physical products, we collect user data concerning the use of our physical devices which are used together with our Membantu app. Such data includes information about how our physical devices are used in connection with the app and includes how they interact with the app and other devices. We also collect technical data on our physical devices such as device model, firmware version, connection status and the performance of the device. This kind of data helps us to understand how our products work in the real world and allow us to identify any potential areas that could be improved upon. We process this kind of device data for the purposes of improving the user experience, solving any potential technical problems and optimising the performance and functionality of our physical products.
