The carrycot gives your baby a safe and comforting little base that follows you through the day’s small moments. It works both as a cosy sleeping space and unfolds into a soft play mat.

What can the carrycot be used for?

It is a sleeping space first: a familiar little bed your baby can stay in whether you are at home or visiting someone.

The sides fold down, and it becomes a soft mat of 109 × 68 cm for tummy time, quiet play or a quick nappy change away from home. It also works as an insert in the pram, and it fits inside our baby hammocks and baby cradle.

Does it fit my pram?

The carrycot fits prams with a lying length of more than 70 cm. The carrycot itself measures 74 × 34 × 20 cm.

Measure the inside length of your pram before ordering. If you are close to 70 cm, check the product page for the full measurements rather than guessing.

Can I use it in the baby hammock and the cradle?

Yes. The carrycot is designed to fit inside both our baby hammocks and our baby cradle.

That is the main reason parents buy it. A sleeping baby can be moved from the pram into the cradle, or the other way round, while staying in the same bed — so the transfer disturbs them far less than lifting them out and laying them down somewhere new.

How do I clean it?

Take out the baseboard, the mattress and the side panels first. Note that the end panels cannot be removed.

Clean with a warm, damp cloth, or hand wash at 30 °C using a mild detergent without bleach or strong perfume. Do not tumble dry — hang it up instead, and put the baseboard, mattress and panels back once it is completely dry.

The outer fabric is water- and dirt-repellent, so everyday spills often wipe off without a full wash.

How long can my baby use the carrycot?

Up to 9 kg. As with the cradle, development usually decides before weight does.

The carrycot is only suitable for babies who cannot yet sit up by themselves, roll over or pull themselves up on hands or knees. Stop using it once any of those happen, even if your baby is still under 9 kg.

Is the carrycot safe?

The carrycot is tested and approved to the European safety standard EN 1466:2023. A baby harness can be attached inside for extra security, and the sides are lined with breathable mesh so air can pass through if your baby’s face touches them.

Before lifting: Always gather the handles together and fasten the Velcro closure before you lift or carry the carrycot.

Read the manual carefully before first use and follow the instructions it gives. Keep your baby supervised while the carrycot is in use.

The same bed, wherever you are

Small babies notice when the surroundings change. A visit to the grandparents, a nap in the pram, an afternoon on the living-room floor — each new place asks them to settle again from scratch.

The carrycot is the one thing that stays the same. The same mattress, the same fabric, the same smell. Your baby can be moved from the pram to the cradle without ever leaving the bed they fell asleep in, which is usually the difference between a nap that continues and one that ends at the front door.

More than a place to sleep

The sides fold down and the carrycot becomes a soft mat measuring 109 × 68 cm — enough room for tummy time, quiet play or a quick change away from home. Folded up, it is 74 × 34 × 20 cm and weighs 1.94 kg, so it is light enough to carry in one hand.

That is also why it works as a pram insert. One purchase covers the sleeping space, the play surface and the changing mat you would otherwise pack separately.

Materials

The outside is durable polyester with a water- and dirt-repellent finish, which matters on a rainy walk. The inside is 100% organic cotton over a firm foam mattress, and the sides are padded with foam and lined with breathable mesh so there is airflow if your baby’s face touches them.

The baseboard, mattress and side panels come out for washing. Clean with a warm damp cloth or hand wash at 30 °C using a mild detergent without bleach or strong perfume, and hang to dry rather than tumble drying.
