Safety and use

At Membantu, we attach great importance to safety, which is why our cradle bouncer has undergone a thorough safety test at a Danish test center. The cradle bouncer fully meets the CE marking

Safety and use

It is of course extremely important to follow the instructions given in the accompanying manual when using the cradle bouncer.

We have consulted with the Sleep Nurse Sine Ditlev Bihlet regarding the use of the cradle bouncer and there are not yet any official recommendations recommending or discouraging the use of baby hammocks or cradle bouncers in Denmark.

It does not exist, as there is insufficient research in the area. The official recommendations (the National Board of Health ) that exist stick to a general recommendation about how children should sleep. These recommendations are to reduce the risk of SIDS when the child is not supervised.

Inside both springs, a safety loop is fitted, which is an extra security if the spring break, which is highly unlikely.

Be aware that if you use a used baby hammock, you should replace the spring as it can become tender over time. It is extremely important to have a fully functional spring.

The National Board of Health in Denmark recommends

When the infant (0-1 years) needs to be put to sleep safely, the Danish Health Authority recommends the following:

The infant should be placed to sleep on its back.

The infant should be able to turn his head freely alternately to the left and right side. The child's chin must not be pressed down against the child's chest.

The infant should lie on a firm mattress suitable for its weight and with the possibility of lying flat.

The infant should not sleep too hot, the temperature should be a maximum of 20 degrees.

The infant should not be exposed to tobacco smoke.

The infant should sleep without a pillow.
